Terms of Service for Tales of Varden

1. Acceptance of Terms

By playing Tales of Varden, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not register or use the game.

2. Account Registration and Rules

• You must be at least 13 years old.
• You are responsible for account credentials and account activity.
• One account per player (unless stated otherwise).

3. Code of Conduct

• No bots, scripts, macros, or automation tools.
• No exploiting bugs for personal gain.
• No harassment, hate speech, spam, or abusive behavior.

Violations may result in account suspension or permanent ban.

4. Payments, Virtual Currency, and Refunds

Tales of Varden offers optional paid Supporter tiers, Varden Coins packs, and other one-time purchases ("Purchases") through our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your full card details - Stripe collects and processes that information directly under its own terms and privacy policy.

• Virtual currency and items. Varden Coins, Gold, titles, mounts, and any other in-game item or currency have no real-world monetary value, cannot be redeemed, exchanged, or transferred for real money, and exist only for use within Tales of Varden.
• One-time purchases, not subscriptions. Supporter tiers and Coins packs are single, one-time transactions - we do not bill you on a recurring basis for any Shop purchase.
• All sales are final. Because Purchases grant digital content that is delivered to your account immediately, they are non-refundable once fulfilled, except where required by applicable law. If you are an EU/EEA consumer, you acknowledge that by requesting immediate delivery of digital content you waive your statutory right of withdrawal once that content has been granted.
• Pricing and availability. Prices are shown in USD, may change at any time, and Shop packages may be added, modified, or removed without affecting Purchases already completed.
• Chargebacks and disputes. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute instead of contacting us first may result in the associated rewards being reversed and the account being suspended pending resolution.
• Purchases give no unfair, pay-to-win gameplay advantage beyond convenience and cosmetic perks, and are otherwise subject to the Code of Conduct above.

5. Advertising and Rewarded Ads

• Rewarded ads are entirely optional. An ad opens only when you press a "Watch ad" button yourself, and no part of the game is locked behind watching one.
• Ads and the pages they lead to come from a third-party ad network and its advertisers, not from us. We do not control, endorse, or take responsibility for their content, offers, downloads, or the terms of any site they take you to. Treat them as you would any other external link.
• Do not attempt to manipulate the reward system: no automated or scripted clicking, no proxies, VPN farms, emulators, or multiple accounts used to inflate ad views, and no interfering with the reward tokens. Invalid ad traffic can cost us our ad account, so accounts doing this may lose rewards and be suspended.
• Daily limits apply per reward and per account, and we may change the rewards, the limits, or the ad network at any time - including removing rewarded ads entirely.
• You may use an ad blocker. Doing so simply means the rewarded-ad buttons cannot grant their reward; nothing else in the game is affected.

6. Intellectual Property

Game content, systems, assets, and code belong to the developer. Fan content is welcome as long as it does not harm the game.

7. Game Updates and Server Wipes

Since the game is in active development, mechanics and balance can change. During testing phases, wipes may occur.

8. Limitation of Liability

The game is provided as-is without guaranteed uptime or bug-free operation. We are not liable for data or progress loss.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after updates means acceptance of the new version.
