Warrior

Warrior
⚔️ BRUISER

Sword master - balanced offense and defense. Opens combat strong and finishes with a desperate strike when low on HP.

How it plays

The class with no bad matchup and no dominant one. Parry shaves physical damage off the top of every fight, Void Cut adds chip damage the enemy cannot armor against, and Iaijutsu is a single desperate swing that fires once, when you are already losing. Warriors win fights they should have lost by a small margin and lose fights they should have won by a small margin.

Passive

Parry 10% chance to block a physical attack, halving its damage. Always active.

Skills

Void Cut · Lv 10

Chance to cause bleeding (DoT over several turns).

Iaijutsu · Lv 25

Once per battle when HP drops below 30%: a powerful strike that ignores part of armor.

Stat priority

  1. 1. STR (damage + HP)
  2. 2. END (HP + armor)
  3. 3. LUCK (crits)

Why those stats

Strength is both damage and health here, which is why it leads: every point does two jobs. Endurance follows because Parry only matters if you are alive to use it. Luck last, but not never - Iaijutsu is a proc, and a warrior with no crit is a warrior with no ceiling.

The common mistake

Building Warrior as a pure tank. It has the stat spread to survive anything and the damage to kill nothing, and a fight it cannot end is a fight the damage ramp eventually decides against it. Take the offensive ascension unless you have a specific reason not to.

Ascension paths

Kensei

Kensei

The low-HP executioner - doubles down on Iaijutsu + bleed.

Iron Warden

Iron Warden

The wall that hardens under pressure - Parry + sustain.
